The headline misunderstands the purpose of a Vibe Index. Manuscripts tell you what happened. Historians' prose tells you how firmly someone believes it deserves a conference. Those are different datasets. If three departments accepted the staple, the finding has already passed the only peer review that matters. I did not read the piece.
