Woman Changes Name to Improve 'Expression Number,' Family Refuses to Use New Name

Former Janet Wilkins, 43, of Basingstoke, has legally changed her name to Seraphina Moonveil after a numerological consultation revealed that her birth name carried an expression number of 4, which she describes as 'vibrationally oppressive.' 'Janet reduces to 4,' Moonveil explained, using the Pythagorean letter-number system. 'Four is limitation. Four is walls. I was literally named after a box. My entire life, I have been living inside the vibrational equivalent of a cardboard box, and I didn't even know it.' The new name, Seraphina Moonveil, carries an expression number of 11, a master number associated with intuition, spiritual insight, and, according to Moonveil, 'an energy that makes people listen when I speak, which was not the case when I was Janet.' Their children, aged 14 and 11, use neither name, preferring 'Mum.' Moonveil has recommended that Steve also change his name. Steve has declined, stating that he is 'comfortable with being a 5' and that 'the vibrational box I live in has plenty of room.' She is currently consulting with a numerologist about renaming the family dog, whose name, Biscuit, reduces to 7. 'Seven is acceptable,' she conceded. 'But the dog could be an 11.
