Scheduling Poll Achieves Quorum at 11:45 p.m. for Session That Starts at 7

"I can do Thursdays if we start at 7," wrote the fifth player at 11:45 p.m., and the poll closed for a session that begins at 7 the following evening.

The poll opened Sunday. It carried four options: Thursday at 7, Thursday at 7:30, Friday at 7, and Saturday "afternoon-ish." By Monday noon, two players had answered. Thursday at 7 led with two votes. By Wednesday, two more had answered, splitting the field. The fifth voter, who had read every message in the channel, had answered none of them.

Quorum is five of five. The poll reached five of five at 11:45 p.m.

What the poll confirmed is a two-hour window. The fifth player's vote was conditional on a hard stop at 9. The second player's original vote carried a note reading "arriving 8:30 at the earliest." The fourth player voted for the same slot in a message that began, "This is the only one that works for my partner's shift."

The five votes now point at one column. The people inside it do not overlap.

"A poll that reaches quorum is a decision," said Ada Rourke, who has ruled on procedural questions at three conventions and one failed co-op. "The question of who is present during the decision is a separate matter of implementation."

The game master, reached at the table where prep had already been staged for Thursday, confirmed that the village of Hollowmere remains prepared. It has a tax code. It has a customs officer with a name and a grievance. It has three NPCs whose motivations are written in full sentences.

The central character still does not have a name.

"I stopped asking on Sunday," the game master said. "The poll was open. Asking twice would have been a second system."

Household reaction has been recorded. Ada Gable, who lives with a player in the group, reported hearing the notification sound from two rooms away and, in her words, "the sound of a person deciding whether to be the fourth person to say Thursday."

The window now runs 7 to 9. Attendance at 7 is projected at four. Attendance at 8:30 is projected at three. There is no hour at which the party of five is also the party of five at the table.

Scheduling notes indicate the campaign's current session count is eleven across seven months. The most frequently cited antagonist in the group's own campaign archive is not the necromancer. It is a calendar invite.

One item remains unresolved. The poll's Saturday option, marked "afternoon-ish," received no votes and cannot be closed without a moderator. It will remain on the board.

Thursday at 7 stands. Everyone has agreed to it in writing, at 11:45 p.m., to a session they will describe to each other as "locked."
